Card Illustration - Wind Wraith

Commission done for a digital card game in the style of Hearthstone and MtG: Arena. It's inspired by Scandinavian culture and mythology, with fantasy elements. The project is still in the works. In this game the wraiths are creatures that are a result of sudden or violent death. They end up embodying and reliving the emotion they felt the strongest right before the end of their mortal lives.

"A youth wandered into the foggy bogs and lost his way. With nothing to sustain him, he could only curl up next to the crooked tree, holding onto his father's seax for comfort, and await death. His wraith now sits at his side, mourning the loss of those potential years of life lost."
