BG3: Project Strahd - Doru Design

Project Strahd is the working name of the mod that hopes to bring Curse of Strahd to BG3. The mod stays as close to the source material as possible while telling a compelling story in the mists of Barovia. The development team plays the part of the DM, guiding players through the fan-favorite adventure module.

Doru is one of the new companions available in Project Strahd. His story is riddled with complexity and contradiction forces. Raised in a church by an overbearing father, he grew up sheltered and obedient. After getting turned into a vampire against his will, he has to face an ongoing battle between his beliefs and his very being. Doru's story explores concepts of toxic masculinity, sexual identity, parental loss, and betrayal.
